LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating the theft of a rifle from the back seat of a vehicle on Moose Hill Road.

The .30-30 Winchester Model 94 was reported stolen at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

The vehicle was parked in a driveway and unlocked.
