Salvation Army provides meals, help
STATEWIDE — The Salvation Army continues its annual Thanksgiving tradition of providing meals and comfort to those neighbors in need throughout Maine.
The details vary by location but Salvation Army Officers, staff and volunteers will offer Thanksgiving food baskets, food vouchers or serve a traditional meal of turkey, stuffing and all the fixings along with plenty of pies at their facility.
The Salvation Army provided nearly 5,000 individuals with assistance in Maine during November 2012.
