NORWAY — Life Safety Specialists Inc., 430 Main St., welcomes David Wacker to the team.

Wacker started his career with a large multi-line insurance company in New York and moved into the health care field in the New Jersey area. He has spent the past 15 years as the director of the Workplace Safety and Health Division of the Maine Department of Labor.

At Life Safety Specialists, he will provide, among many additional services, safety audits, recommendations for corrective actions, job safety analysis, personnel protection equipment assessments, investigate accidents, review training records and assist with OSHA or Bureau of Labor inspections.
