RUMFORD — The Beacon House Social Club on Canal Street will wrap gifts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 14 and 21, free of charge.
Beacon House member Beverly Bowker said any resident can bring in a gift to be wrapped.
“We will however, be accepting donations for the club,” Bowker said.
Bowker said she believed the gift-wrapping was “a good way to keep the club in the eye of the public. It’s a good, positive thing to be doing around the holidays. I imagine any donations we raise will go toward helping out with the club.”
Bowker said residents can call the Beacon House between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to see if there are any other times a member could wrap gifts.
