LEWISTON — Michael C. Yohe, 39, of Lisbon has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and operating under the influence in connection with a single-car crash on Dec. 18.

According to a report filed by Lewiston police early this week, Yohe was driving outbound on Sabattus Street near Golder Road when he drove his 2004 BMW SUV off the road and hit a utility pole at 2:30 a.m.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

Yohe’s blood was drawn to test for alcohol content. According to police, the results are pending.

Yohe’s court appearance has not yet been scheduled.

The status of his license will be considered at a to-be-scheduled Department of Motor Vehicles administrative hearing.
