RUMFORD — Announcement is made of the engagement of Kristen Nicols and Roger Viger Jr., both of Rumford.
Miss Nicols is the daughter of Jim and Carlene Nicols of Mexico. She is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School and St. Joseph’s College of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse on the Maternal Child Health Unit at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Viger is the son of Roger and Cindy Viger Sr. of Rumford and Sandra Cleveland of South Carolina. He is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School and is currently employed at the Rumford-Mexico Sewer District as an equipment operator.
An August wedding is being planned.
