AUBURN — A memorial Mass honoring the life of Alphonse A. Bourque was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Lariviere on Thursday morning, Jan. 2, at St. Philip’s Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Delegations in attendance were the Dominican Sisters of Sabattus and the Andy Valley Member Assembly of 4th degree Knights of Columbus of Auburn, who served as honor guard, which included Sir Knights Norm Gray, Ron Sabourin, Don Michaud and Jeff Albert.

Sir Knight Ron Sabourin presented a member certificate of condolence to Alphonse’s cousin, Marc Gregoire, in tribute to Alphonse’s service as member and officer with the 8742 of the Andy Valley Knights of Columbus.

At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to the church hall for a reception of fellowship. Burial was private at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston. Arrangements were by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
