Knights plan free public supper

JAY — A free public supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Knights of Columbus hall. In case of bad weather, the supper will be held Jan. 18.

The menu is ground beef with gravy over mashed potato, vegetable, salad, soup, desserts and drinks.

Dance, music by Campground Band

JAY — A dance with music by the Campground Band will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the VFW Hall, 64 Jewel St.

Square dance lessons half-price

WILTON — The Friendship Squares Square Dance club is offering square dance lessons at half-price for new members this semester. The cost is $20 per person for a whole semester.

Classes start Monday, Jan. 13, in the cafeteria of the Academy Hill School. Classes are offered every Monday night that school is open through May. They begin at 6 p.m. for new students.

Square dancing is fun and great exercise as well. No partner necessary. For more information, call 509-6187.
