FARMINGTON — The town is attempting to remove ice from local roads with a grader with an ice-cutting blade.
It appears to be having some effect, Town Manager Richard Davis said.
Until temperatures rise enough to allow road chemicals to work, some ice will be impossible to remove. Motorists are urged to drive carefully in case they encounter icy patches.
Town officials appreciate the public’s patience during these difficult weather conditions, Davis said.
