JAY — Spruce Mountain High School has the following events happening in the upcoming weeks.
Mid-term exams will be held Tuesday, Jan. 21, through Friday, Jan. 24. It’s never too early to begin studying.
Athletics for next week are as follows.
* Saturday, Jan. 11, Nordic Ski Meet Hornet Classic at Leavitt at 10:30 a.m.
* Monday, Jan. 13, JV/V boys basketball, home vs. Telstar, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
* Tuesday, Jan. 14, JV/V girls basketball, home vs. Telstar, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
* Wednesday, Jan. 15, JV/V boys basketball at Wiscasset, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
* Wednesday, Jan. 15, alpine ski meet at Titcomb Mountain at 4 p.m.
* Thursday, Jan. 16, JV/V girls basketball at Wiscasset, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
* Thursday, Jan. 16, bowling at Augusta, 3 p.m.
* Friday, Jan. 17, JV/V boys basketball, home vs. Carrabec, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
* Saturday, Jan. 18, JV/V girls basketball, home vs. Carrabec, 5:30 and 7 p.m.
* Saturday, Jan. 18, alpine ski meet at Kents Hill at 9:30 a.m.
* Saturday, Jan. 18, Nordic ski meet at Maranacook High School “Maranacook Wave,” 1 p.m.
