Arrests
Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned on March 4 in 11th District Court
* Matthew Ellis, 30, Mexico, theft by unauthorized taking/transfer from Rumford Hospital, 9:10 a.m. Jan. 20 on Highland Terrace. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail and will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. on March 14 in Oxford County Superior Court in Paris.
* Gina Thompson, 35, Rumford, assault, 3:05 p.m. Jan. 15 on Waldo Street. She was released on $600 unsecured bail.
* Brandon Milligan, 20, Rumford, warrant charging failure to appear on charge of operating after suspension, turned himself into the police station and was arrested at 4:55 p.m. Jan. 14 on River Street. He was released on $100 cash bail and will be arraigned on Feb. 4 in 11th District Court.
Crime
* A Route 2 home was burglarized sometime before 7:29 p.m. Jan. 20 and a floor jack estimated at $200 and $3 in returnables were taken.
* A Franklin Street resident reported at 8:53 p.m. Jan. 18 that a purse valued at $20 was taken from a vehicle.
* A Pine Street resident reported at 12:38 p.m. Jan. 17 the theft of prescription medication and money.
* A resident reported at 10:44 a.m. Jan. 17 that a tire was slashed on a vehicle parked overnight on Washington Street.
