AUBURN — The monthly meeting of the Auburn Democratic City Committee will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Auburn City Building.
Maxwell Mogensen, author of “Legendary Locals of Androscoggin County,” will discuss some of the characters in his book. Signed copies will be available for purchase. Also present will be candidates for state office in the 2014 election.
Parking is available in the garage. Use the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.
All Auburn Democrats are urged to attend the city committee meetings, which take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center. For information, call 777-3125.
