LISBON FALLS — A representative from Thomas College will visit Lisbon High School at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10.

The representative will meet with students to discuss Thomas’ academic and sports programs, and its residential life opportunities.

YPLAA YAH! event is Feb. 11

AUBURN — The Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area will hold their February YAH! – YPLAA After Hours event from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 11, at Center Street Dental.

There will be hors d’oeuvres and bar service from Forage Market. Attendees can enter to win door prizes and partake in the hot chocolate bar with all the fixings.

Disabled veterans meet Feb. 18

LEWISTON — Disabled American Veterans Chapter 11 will hold its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.

The meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, except June, July and August.

Chili, chowder competitors wanted

NEW GLOUCESTER — The Junior Warden’s Chili and Chowder Contest, to benefit the Scottish Rite Children’s Dyslexia Center of Portland, will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Cumberland Lodge Masonic Hall, 11 Bald Hill Road.
