CASPER, Wyo. — Beloved mother, grandmother and family matriarch, Margaret “Maggie” Rose Pooler (Howard), 87, of Casper, Wyo., and originally from Mexico, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, in Casper, Wyo., surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 12, 1926, to Harold Everett Howard and Winifred Hickey Howard, in Mexico, where she graduated from Mexico High School. Margaret went on to pursue an associate’s degree and work in the health care field in many aspects, including as a nurse’s aide, office manager and health care advocate.

Maggie was passionate about her work in health care, but especially about being an advocate for her patients. She also had a keen interest in horse racing and was a horse owner in her past. Above all, she was most dedicated to her family. She truly was the matriarch of the family.

Maggie is survived by her three sons, Paul Judkins of Albertville, Ala., Michael Judkins of Casper, Wyo., and David Judkins of Durango, Colo. She was also the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
