NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library Children’s Department announces that the March calendar is full of celebrations.

Theodore Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss, has a birthday on Sunday, March 2, and the library will celebrate it all day on Wednesday, March 5.

On Wednesday, March 12, in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day, staff will have a special craft time from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The vernal equinox is Thursday, March 20, so to celebrate spring, staff will read all about it during story time at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19.

LEGO®  Club will meet on the third Thursday of the month, March 20, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Bring a bucket and build with friends. It is for kids age 6 to 12.

Weekly programs include Stay and Play for children age 1 to 5 and their parents or caregivers. It meets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays.

Story Time, for children age 2 to 5, is a 30-minute story-based program followed by an optional craft period. It meets Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Music and Movement is for children age 1 to 5. It meets at 10:30 a.m. Fridays.

All the programs mentioned above are free. For more information, call 743-5309, ext. 4.

If schools in SAD 17 are closed, children’s programs are canceled.
