From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 1, the Turner Center Universalist Church will host the season’s first Cabin Fever Concert, and its first bean supper. The Nezinscot River Jammers, comprised of piano, accordion, mandolin, guitar, and a blend of rich, harmonic voices, will perform, cafe style, on the downstairs stage. These seasoned musicians, who play separately and together at different venues, and with other bands, come together every-other Saturday night at Nezinscot Farm for an evening of musical fun, pizza, and knitting.   The supper/concert is a fundraiser to purchase  instruments for students who otherwise would not be able to participate in the school music program. Donations of new or used musical instruments are welcome.
