HEBRON — Voters will elect a selectman, a library trustee and a Budget Committee member at the annual town meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hebron Station School on Station Road.

The three-year terms of Selectman Dan Eichorn, Moody Library Trustee William Clough and Budget Committee member James Trundy are expiring. Residents will vote on nominations made from the floor.

Although the overall fiscal 2014-15 budget amount was not available Wednesday, Budget Committee member Bruce Conant said it will be about the same as last year.

Last year, voters approved a $694,137 municipal budget, down from the recommended $721,200.

On Saturday, voters will be asked to raise $45,000 for the Fire Department, $10,000 for the firetruck reserve account that has $30,000, and $80,000 for the operation of the transfer station.

The sum of $100,000 is requested for summer road maintenance, $145,000 for winter road maintenance, $100,000 for the tarring and paving account and $10,000 for the town garage account.

Voters will also be asked to raise and appropriate $20,000 and authorize the allocation of a $78,000 block grant to replace the culvert for Bog Brook at Station Road. They will also be asked to raise and appropriate $125,000 for the town office expense account.

Social service agency requests include $226 for SeniorsPlus, $250 for Western Maine Transportation, $500 for Safe Voices, $175 for Western Maine Veterans, $100 for the LifeFlight Foundation and $200 for the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Project Graduation.

Also requesting money are Sexual Assault Prevention services, $35; Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, $889; and Community Concepts, $2,525.

The Budget Committee reduced some social service requests. A request for $1,416 by Tri County Mental Health Services was reduced to $878 and a request for $750 by the American Red Cross was reduced to $500.

The Budget Committee did not fund requests for $100 from the Maine Public Broadcasting and $850 from the Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills spay and neuter fund.
