STRONG — A free seminar by Loren Spivack and sponsored by Franklin Co. Patriots will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25, at White Elephant Restaurant.

How do we go about getting government back into the box built by the founding fathers to contain government? The box it escaped from a hundred years ago, and has been running rampant devouring everything in sight ever since.

Spivack, known as The Free Market Warrior, held Seminar I, “Economic Literacy,” last year in Farmington, where attendees learned about how economies actually work.

Now Spivack has developed a completely new seminar titled “Getting There from Here.” It is an attempt to answer the question he gets asked most: “Now that we’ve learned why a much smaller government would work better, how do we achieve it politically?”

This new seminar will be about history and politics much more than economics and will attempt to show a step-by-step conceptual plan to “build a majority coalition for freedom” and then how to “dismantle the governmental monstrosity” in a way that is politically viable. People who enjoyed the first seminar are guaranteed to like this one. Previous attendance at the first seminar is not required.

Spivack will present his Seminar I in Belfast on Thursdays, March 20 and 27. It will run from 6 to 9:30 each evening. They meet at Troy Howard Middle School, Lincolnville Avenue (Route 52). These will be his only two presentations in Maine this year.
