Trail Blazers club meeting
MEXICO — The Mexico Trail Blazers will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, downstairs at the Mexico Town Hall on Route 2. All are welcome.
Anyone wanting to become a member to help support the club may do so at a meeting or by calling Nick Brown at 364-8665.
Snowmobile Club meeting, election
RUMFORD — The Rumford Polar Bears Snowmobile Club will hold its annual meeting and election of officers at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Sam’s Restaurant on Route 2.
During the meeting, nominations from the floor will be accepted for the offices of president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and trail master. All members are invited to attend.
Concert benefits Camp Sunshine
RUMFORD — Musicians Andy St. Pierre and Peter Koch will perform a benefit concert of acoustic country and folk music from the 1970s and ’80s at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Rumford Performing Arts Center.
Proceeds from the concert benefit Camp Sunshine in Casco, which helps children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Advance tickets can be purchased for $8 ($5 for children under 12) at Kreckel Law Offices on Congress Street. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults or $7 for children. Checks should be made payable to Camp Sunshine.
