Annual Oxford Pizza Challenge
OXFORD — The 2014 Oxford Pizza Challenge will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Community Center.
The fee is $3 for adults and $1.50 for kids under 12.
Participants vote for their favorite pizza place. This is a fundraiser for the Recreation Department.
The pizza stores involved so far this year are Lamprons, Polly’s, Amato’s, Sideline Variety, Meguire Hill Market, Ari’s and Harvest Hill.
Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on March 17 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Marta Clements and Dick Allen; third, Mary Trafton and Luke Merry.
Winners on March 18 were: first, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier; second, Les Buzzell and Mike True; third, Kay Bagwell and Rosemarie Goodwin.
Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed. Call Rosemarie at 754-1431 for more information.
A quarterly club championship will be played at 9 a.m. Monday, March 31, and on Tuesday, March 25.
