A story on Page B1 of the City edition Friday incorrectly stated what kinds of waste can be brought to Mid-Maine Waste Action Corporation’s Goldthwaite Road incinerator free of charge.

Auburn residents can take car batteries, microwaves and propane tanks to the incinerator at no charge, any time of year. They can bring old furniture, leftover construction debris, brush and tree waste to the incinerator for a fee of $92.55 per ton. MMWAC accepts tires as well, $3 each for four or fewer or $222.79 per ton for more than four.

For more information, call MMWAC at 783-8805 or visit its website, www.midmainewaste.com.
