Toner

JAY — The wedding of Rachel Ann Ventrella and Joseph Park Toner was held at 1 p.m. on July 6 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Jay. The Rev. Thomas Laquin officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Toner is the daughter of Michael and Janet Ventrella of Jay, formerly of Fayette. Mr. Toner is the son of James and Barbara Toner of New Vineyard.

Kathryn Ventrella, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Toner, sister of the bridegroom, Sarah Beaulieu Chamberlain, cousin of the bride, and Caryn Howell, friend of the bride. Zoe Leclerc, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Garret Parker, friend of the bridegroom was best man. Ushers were Thomas Ventrella, brother of the bride, Park Laflin, cousin of the bridegroom, and Tanner Otis, friend of the bridegroom. Matthew St. Pierre, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

Nuptial music for the ceremony was provided by vocalist Lisa Sturtevant, friend of the bride, pianist Jason Beaulieu, cousin of the bride, and violinist Riley Laflin, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at St. Joe’s Hall in Farmington, after which the couple traveled to Aruba for their honeymoon. They are currently residing in Jay.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is a third grade teacher at Livermore Elementary School.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine. He is an admissions and financial aid counselor at the University of Maine at Farmington.
