LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens will meet on Monday, April 7, at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central St.

Jessica McKneally will lead them in laughter yoga. McKneally started incorporating laughter into her classes after learning about the benefits these practices have on physical, mental and emotional well being.

Members are asked to wear their prettiest or funniest Easter bonnet. There will be prizes and goodies after the meeting.

On March 15 about 125 attended Lewis Ward’s magic tricks program. The Amazing Lou performed his magic for local children, their parents and grandparents at the armory. The show was a fundraiser for the Lewiston Senior Citizens.

One young boy won a 20-inch mountain bike and a gift certificate for a helmet. There was also one 50/50 winner.

Amazing Lou ended his act by making balloon animals, flowers and swords for the children.
