WMTW meteorologist Mallory Brooke recently visited third-grade students at Lisbon Community School to help with their weather unit studies. Students had an opportunity for questions and answers with the Brooke, who shared the importance of math and science skills for weather forecasting. “Meteorologists view many computer models to predict the constant changing of weather conditions, to report conditions in an accurate manner,” Brooke told the students. Pictured are Brooke and LCS student Kaitlin Catalano, who presented a bouquet of fresh spring flowers to the visiting meteorologist.
