WILTON — The Planning Board will visit a camp on Wilson Lake at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 1, before meeting at 7 p.m. at the Town Office.

Dianne Janelle of Westbrook requested a permit to tear down the camp at 9 Point Road and build a new structure. Point Road is off Camp Road, which is off Pond Road.

The board discussed the application at their April 17 meeting. The camp is on a nearly half acre lot and is considered nonconforming because of its closeness to the water and the lot size, according to meeting minutes.

The new building would be 30 percent large and have a frost wall foundation.

Also at its previous meeting, the board considered a preliminary plan from Bass Wilson Properties, LLC, to add 10 apartments on the fourth floor of the Bass Wilson Building at 284 Main St., according to the minutes.

A public hearing on the proposed subdivision was scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Town Office.
