LEWISTON — A Lewiston Regional Tech student is on his way to Kansas City after winning gold in a law enforcement skills competition held in Bangor.
Dylan Morin, 17, beat out 13 other students from various Maine vocational centers to take the top prize in the Skills USA contest in March. In June, he will travel to Missouri to compete in the national competition.
According to Dylan’s father, Mike Morin, the teenager will then attend Central Maine Community College to study law enforcement, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Maine State Trooper.
