RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Michael Harris was celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, May 5, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Antonio Amato was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier and Kyleigh Dupuis were the altar servers and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Precious Lord Take My Hand,” “Amazing Grace” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” The Old Testament and New Testament readings were proclaimed by Barbara Doherty, the offertory gifts were presented by his grandsons, Ryan Harris and Kyle Harris, and military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard.

Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Harris, Hans Harris, Kyle Harris and Ryan Harris. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
