1960 – 2014

JAY — Donna M. Dube, 53, of East Dixfield Road, Jay, died peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 11, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Manchester, N.H., on Nov. 8, 1960, a daughter of Augustus and Corliss (Currier) Elliott, and graduated from Dirigo High School in Dixfield, Class of 1979. For many years, Donna owned and operated Donna’s Country Kettle Restaurant in Livermore Falls.

She was a member of the AMVETS, VFW and the Hillside Sportsman’s Club in Jay. She also enjoyed quilting, crafts, fishing, 4-wheeling and camping on Burgess Pond in Fayette.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Her family wishes to thank many family and friends for their love and support, and a special thank-you to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for its help and support.

Donna is survived by her parents, Augustus and Corliss Elliott of Fayette; daughter, Kara Dube and companion, Dylan Morrison, of Augusta; sisters, Bonnie King and husband, Joseph, of Jay, Nancy Jewett and husband, Kevin, of Livermore Falls, Laurie Mitchell and companion, Larry Houle, of Livermore Falls, Jeanne Jewett and husband, Randal, of Jay and Ginger Pomerleau and husband, Paul, of Jay; brothers, Alan Elliott and companion, Kim Folsom, of Dixfield, Augustus Elliott Jr. and wife, Philona, of Canton and Don Elliott and wife, Wendy, of Fayette; many nieces and nephews; and a special companion and caregiver, Bradford White, of Jay.
