1912 – 2013
CORVALLIS, Ore. — Simone L. Caron, a longtime resident of Lewiston and Auburn, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, in Corvallis, Ore., in the loving presence of her son, Andre, and his family.
Simone was born on Oct. 12, 1912, to O. Willie and Yvonne Thibault in Lewiston. She was married to Conrad Caron, and participated in the operation of the family grocery store and real estate holdings for several years, prior to their sale.
She is survived by her two sons, their wives and families, Andre and Beverly of Corvallis, Ore., and Maurice and Trudy of West Chester, Pa.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and their families.
In death, she joins her husband, Conrad; three sisters, Monique Thibault, Jacqueline Roy and Colette Dufresne; and a grandson, Marc Caron.
