Having met Sen. Emily Cain and watching her abilities to get things done in Augusta, I was impressed by her compassion and understanding of seniors’ and veterans’ issues. The energy she shows from being on the right side of the issues on health care, affordable prescriptions, housing and transportation for the elderly is truly heart-warming.
Seniors talk about the golden years. We joke about having to give out our gold for medical care. But because of low wages and high heating costs, etc., some seniors never had the gold in the first place.
Cain understands that seniors and veterans just want to be treated fairly and with respect and dignity as we live our remaining years. We have paid our dues to society by working and serving our country.
I will vote for Emily Cain for Representative for U.S. Congress on June 10.
