EASTPORT — Authorities say a search of a 14-acre property in Eastport did not turn up any signs of an eastern Maine woman who went missing a decade ago.

State and local police with dog teams searched the tract of land behind Marilyn Lehan’s former Eastport home on Thursday.

Lehan, who would be 59, lived in the home from 2002 until 2004. It is now owned by another family.

Family members say she may have moved away in 2004 but they have not seen or heard from her since. Repeated attempts to locate her have failed. Her family officially reported her missing to Eastport police last summer. She often went long periods with no contact with family.

Her husband has relocated to California.
