With the ATV riding season upon us, I would like to express my gratitude for the assistance Patriot Renewables has repeatedly given to the Woodstock ATV Club.

One of my responsibilities as trailmaster for the club is to ensure the trail systems are maintained for rider safety and recreation. I have the opportunity to enjoy several outdoor activities in the area, as my wife’s family owns a camp on Concord Pond. Patriot owns and operates Spruce Mountain Wind located in Woodstock.

Patriot began working with our club to reroute the trails disrupted by the construction of the wind project, and continues to offer assistance today. Maintenance of the ATV trials can be very costly. The trails used by the club have remained in good condition thanks to the hard work of our members and the generous donations from Patriot Renewables.

The Woodstock ATV Club participates in several trail rides during the year, including the coordination of an annual ride that involves more than 70 ATV riders. Patriot Renewables participates in this annual event as both riders and sponsors. In addition to its sponsorship, the company organizes a barbecue at the project site which makes the day more fun for everyone who joins the ride.

Patriot has contacted the Woodstock ATV Club several times to ask what else can be done to aid our club. The company continues to demonstrate care and concern for the ongoing enjoyment of the great outdoors.
