This is a chance to gently explore the wooded parcel on well-established tote roads, while finding out more about the community forest model in New England.

Entrance to the parcel is on Scribners Mills Road in Harrison, half mile west of the Crooked River if coming from Otisfield, or 7/10th mile east of Maple Ridge Road from the west.

Comfortable shoes, bug spray and long sleeves are suggested.

Contact Loon Echo Land Trust at 647-4352 or loonecholandtrust.org or Western Foothills Land Trust at 739-2124 or wfltmaine.org for more information.
