Summer concerts at Mexico park
MEXICO — Summer concerts at the Mexico Recreation Park will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evenings through Sept. 1.
Bring a picnic supper, bug spray, blanket, folding chair and a friend or two and join your friends, neighbors and family for an evening of good ole traditional country music, bluegrass and gospel music.
L & L Country with Zach Hodge will be on stage every week, weather permitting.
Historical Society cleanup night
DIXFIELD — Dixfield Historical Society’s annual Clean-up Night will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Museum House.
Any help will be most appreciated for light housekeeping, dusting, sweeping and window washing. This gets the Museum House ready for summer visitors and the annual open house during during Dixfield’s Open Street Market in August.
Community Kitchen summer socials
INDUSTRY — Industry Community Kitchen will hold Summer Socials on June 12, July 10, Aug. 14 and Sept. 11, meeting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Industry Town Hall.
Lunch will be served and there is no charge for the meetings.
Chesterville Grange ‘souper’ supper
CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Grange will hold a public “souper” supper on Friday, June 13, serving between 5 and 6:30 p.m.

Free monthly community luncheon
FARMINGTON — The Old South First Congregational Church will serve its free monthly community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at 227 Main St.
The menu will be hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausages with peppers and onions, and dessert bars.

Free Block Party planned for June 14
FARMINGTON — Farmington Baptist Church is hosting a Free Block Party from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, in the park across from the Farmington Fairgrounds on High Street.
Free games, food and fun for all ages.
Public supper at Trinity United
FARMINGTON — A public supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Trinity United Methodist Church.
The baked beans and casserole supper includes vegetarian, gluten-free and sugar-free items. The new price is $7 adults, children under 12 $3.50.

Emmanuel plans free lunch
LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God will hold a free Community Lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the American Legion Hall, 17 Reynolds Ave.

Lawn sale at ‘Green Church’
MEXICO — A lawn sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (the “Green Church”), 163 Main St.
The sale includes clothing, kitchen and household goods, games, toys, books and more. The Women’s Fellowship of the church will have a baked goods sale in the conference room at the same time.
Dignified disposal of flags June 14
TURNER — Turner American Legion Post 111 and Turner Boy Scout Troop 187 will conduct a dignified disposal of unserviceable American flags at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14 (Flag Day), at Leavitt Area High School parking lot.
Full military honors will be displayed to include the posting of the flag, a 21-gun salute, the playing of taps and the proper disposal method.
Retired Educators plan meeting
FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Retired Educators will hold its final spring meeting at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, in the North Dining Hall at UMF. There will be a salad and sandwich lunch for $10.50. The program will be “Kitty Gee, the Whistler.”
All retired school employees are welcome to attend. Lunch reservations are required; contact Arline Amos at 645-4437 to hold a seat.

FRYEBURG/NORWAY — SeniorsPlus, the Area Agency on Aging, will be at the Fryeburg Public Library from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 16, and Norway Town Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 18.
People will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns.

HARTFORD — Cowgirl Roundup tea party will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Hartford Town Hall, Route 140.

There will be a tea party, silent auction, desserts and a lesson in line dancing, with possibly a special guest appearance.
