BUCKFIELD — Residents on Tuesday abandoned an effort to withdraw from RSU 10 by a vote of 207-137.
At the annual town meeting last year, voters agreed to start the process of leaving the 12-town district.
Also Tuesday, voters passed the RSU 10 budget for 2014-15.
Jerry Wiley was elected to the school board with 198 votes to Wendy Turner’s 143.
Scott Violette won a seat on the Board of Selectmen for three years. He was unopposed.
