AUBURN — The Maine Department of Transportation reports that repaving work on Route 100, Washington Street, is slowing down Turnpike traffic.

According to the DOT, northbound traffic between the New Gloucester Toll and Exit 75 in Auburn is affected by the work. Motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes and use caution in the area.
