JAY — A Livermore Falls woman was injured Friday morning after her car and another collided at Elm and Lavoie streets, police officer Russell Adams said.
Carol Harlow, 51, complained of pain and was taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, he said.
Kathleen Danforth, 67, of Jay was traveling east on Elm Street in a 2006 Toyota and failed to yield the right of way, Adams said. Her car struck the left rear of Harlow’s 2005 SUV, which was traveling north on Lavoie, he said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and air bags in both vehicles deployed, he said.
The accident remains under investigation.
Firefighters assisted Adams at the 8:04 a.m. crash.
