- A vehicle driven by Elijah Gammon, 22, of Chesterville lies on its side beside West Mills Road in Industry. Gammon told Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Morgan on Thursday that he lost control of his vehicle when he tried to avoid a deer as he was driving up a hill. The vehicle went off the road and landed on its side, Lt. David Rackliffe said Friday. Gammon and his passenger, Jarrett Farrington, 18, of Farmington were evaluated at the scene by NorthStar EMS personnel but were not taken to a hospital, he said. Cpl. Nate Reid and Industry firefighters assisted at the 1:35 p.m. accident.
