RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Ernest Robichaud was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Parish of the Holy Savior.
The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by his great-granddaughter, Kelcey Robichaud, and the New Testament was proclaimed by his great-grandson, Kolby Robichaud. Offertory gifts were presented by his son, David Robichaud, and daughter-in-law, Carol Robichaud. Personal reflections were shared by his sons, David and John Robichaud, and friend, Rollie Perry.
Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Robichaud, Kolby Robichaud, Craig Robichaud and Rollie Perry. A reception followed at 49 Franklin. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
