RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the Life of Jean M. Doherty was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 14, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections before the mass were “To Where You Are”; during the mass were “J’irai la voir un jour,” “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd,” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Barbara Doherty. The New Testament was proclaimed by Ray Doherty. Offertory gifts were presented by Lisa and Ray Doherty. Personal reflections were shared by Kevin Bernard. Interment will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was in the parish hall.
