1992 – 2014

SACO — Samantha Renee Sabourin, 22, of Brule Street, Lewiston, died Sunday, July 27, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on June 8, 1992, a daughter of Fernand “Skip” and Veronica (Edwards) Sabourin. She was educated in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School. After high school, Samantha studied Elementary Education at Thomas College in Waterville. Samantha was working as a nanny for the Sheline family, taking care of their two children, Danika and John. She loved taking care of them and had become very close to the family.

Samantha loved music and singing. She was a great friend to many, and she had a great sense of humor and a smile that lit up the room. She was Daddy’s girl and loved her family with all her heart. She also loved her two dogs, Pebbles and Bam-Bam.

She leaves her parents, Fernand “Skip” Sabourin Jr. and his wife, Abby, of Lewiston; her mother, Veronica Quick and her husband, Bruce, of Florida; her siblings, Nicole Morgan of Lewiston, Shawn Sabourin of Lewiston and Fernand “JR” Sabourin III of Lewiston; her step-siblings, Louis Barboza of Portland, Danica Barboza of Westbrook and Gabrielle Barboza of Lewiston; nieces and nephews, Ava, Isaiah, Josiah, Regan and Dailen; Grama Pat; and many aunts, uncles and cousins that she adored.
