LEWISTON — Rainbow Federal Credit Union received first place for the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award at the 2014 Maine Credit Union League Convention.
The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award recognizes a credit union for its social responsibility work and charitable projects that support its community. Rainbow FCU was recognized for their Adopt-a-Family program, where employees worked with local agencies to identify families in financial need in their community who could use support near the holidays through providing food and gifts.
