Four photographers present reasons to fall in love with Maine

BATH — The 2014 Photography Invitational hosted by the Art Gallery of the Chocolate Church Arts Center will feature the work of four diverse photographers who will display within the theme of “Our Maine Home.” The show begins Friday, Aug. 8 and continues through Sept. 13.

Bob Bailie offers a documentary approach to the subject manner. Roger Duncan has a background in commercial imagery and has a creative eye for people and making memorable images. Johannah Harkness will choose among an ever-changing portfolio of portraits and still-life photographs that capture the magic of light. Wendy Jung is known for her images of people enjoying life.

The Art Gallery at 804 Washington Street is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 a,m,-4 p,m. Open until 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8 for a reception open to the public and on Friday, Aug. 15 as part of Bath ArtWalk. Call 207-442-8455 for details.
