The Casco Needles and Ponds group of the Southern Maine Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America made 31 blankets and quilts for Project Linus, a 100 percent volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that provides blankets to seriously ill, traumatized or children in crisis. The group meets at noon on the first Tuesday of each month at the Casco Community Center. Visitors are welcome.
