The Community Service Group at Lisbon High School contribute numerous hours of volunteer service to the community. One program supported throughout the school year was the Lisbon Area Christian Outreach (LACO). Students presented LACO with a $100 donation prior to the end of the school year. “The donation will allow us to purchase 625 pounds of meat and other foods at Good Shepherd Food Bank,” said co-director Carol Day. “This will help our families with children who received free or reduced breakfast and lunch at school this summer. We are so proud of the children in our communities. You have collected over 4,000 pounds of food, donated $1,900 and volunteered 900 hours of your time for the food pantry and clothing bank.” From left in front are Sierra Crosby, Brittany Roldan, Day and Natalie Thomsen; back, Paula Caron, Jack Caron, Alex Couillard, Silas Crosby and Johnny Yim.
