Season outlook: The seniors are the bellwethers of the team. Their leadership will need the support of the juniors, which will then bring along the sophomores and ninth graders. The junior class is large and strong. Labonte is strong in net, and she will help mentor freshman Isho Mohamed, who has middle school goalie experience. Richardson still believes the team is an underdog — and it may be — but the Blue Devils are headed in the right direction.
