LEWISTON — The Lewiston CareerCenter is hosting a job fair from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at the center at 5 Mollison Way.
More than 35 employers are expected to attend.
Employers include ADECCO, Air National Guard, Argo Marketing Group, Bill’s Auto Transport Inc., Bonney Staffing, Carbonite, Circle K, Complete Home Care of New England, Creative Innovations, FedEx, Formed Fiber, Geiger, Great Falls Marketing, Home Depot, Industrial Roofing Companies, Lowes, Manpower, MAS Home Care, Merry Meeting Behavioral Health, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, Oxford Casino, PepsiCo, Quality Traffic Control, Rose’s Commercial Cleaners, Sequel Care of Maine, Stericycle, Staff Management, Support Solutions, TD Bank, Tradesmen International, Xerox, Panolam, Prudential Insurance and Western Maine Transportation.
Attendees should bring a resume and, more important, should be prepared to have an “interview-like” conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas and abilities. Job seekers should also be dressed for an interview.
French, Spanish and Somali interpreters will be available but requests should be made in advance to the CareerCenter.
