Returning athletes: Boys: Juniors — Luke Thombs, Nate Beaudoin. Girls: Seniors — Carey Knowles, Jordyn Mann, Ashleigh Hartford, Emily Lombardo Hannah Kerrigan; Juniors — Brianna Gonzalez, Shayna Frost, Maddie Stevens Lindsey Ridlon.
Key losses: Boys: Dylan Thombs, Marques Houston, Ben Bailey, Stewart Buzzell. Girls: Tiffany Pease, Becca Fernandez, Amanda Anair, Becki Bryant.
Promising newcomers: None at press time.
Season outlook: With only two boys returning from last year it will be a large rebuilding year with the goal of qualifying for states. More than half the girls’ team is new to high school cross country. It will be an exciting season for the Mustangs to see who steps up and can fill in the slots left by graduation.
