GRAY – Junior quarterback Levi Craig threw for 350 yards and six touchdowns Friday night, all in the first half, and Leavitt lowered the boom on Gray-New Gloucester, 58-7, in Class C West football.
Craig’s TD connections went for 30 and 10 yards to Gabe Seeley, 30 and 70 yards to Mitchel Davis, and 12 and 44 yards to Max Green. He was 13-for-20 through the air.
In the second half, Bryce Hudson threw a 20-yard TD pass to Isaiah Calder and Caleb Bowen had a 17-yard scoring run for Leavitt (2-1). Gray-NG (0-3) broke up the shutout late in the fourth quarter.
Oak Hill 21, Maranacook 0
READFIELD – Alex Mace rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns Friday night, and Oak Hill’s defense did the rest in a 21-0 Class D West football verdict over Maranacook at Ricky Gibson Field of Dreams.
Mace scored on a 3-yarder late in the second quarter and a 4-yarder in the fourth. He set up the first with a long catch-and-run from Dalton Therrien.
Jonah Martin caught a 25-yard TD from Therrien in the first quarter and finished with five catches for 90 yards. Therrien completed 10 of 17 for 150 yards.
Samson Lacroix and Garrett Gile led the resistance for Oak Hill (2-1) and kept Maranacook (0-3) off the board.
Lisbon 20, Boothbay 0
BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Noah Francis scored every points for Lisbon in a 20-0 Class D West football win over Boothbay at Sherman Field.
Francis ran for a 8-yard TD in the first quarter and scores of 6 and 43 yards, plus a two-point conversion, in the fourth.
The second score capped a 99-yard drive after a goal-line stand. Joe Philbrick, Darren Ward and Robert Wood combined for seven tackles for loss to lead Lisboin (2-0).
Cheverus 38, Oxford Hills 0
PARIS – Joe Fitzpatrick rushed for five touchdowns and Cheverus’ defense didn’t allow a touchdown for a third consecutive week in a 38-0 Class A East verdict over Oxford Hills at Gouin Complex.
Patrick Macro picked off a pass for the Vikings (1-2).
