JAY — Services for Jay police and fire Chief Larry White Sr., who died Sunday, will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere said.
White lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday. He was diagnosed in January and had been undergoing treatment since February.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Wiles Remembrance Center at 308 Franklin Road/Route 133 in Jay.
A public celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Spruce Mountain High School Gymnasium at 33 Community Drive, off Route 4 in Jay.
Following the service, a reception will be held in the high school cafeteria.
